A venue for traditional opera and other performances built in Dounan during the late Japanese colonial era and likely known as Dai-butai. Its fate is unknown and the location uncertain. The Ministry of Science and Technology’s research places it out here on the western periphery of town but it seems more likely it was situated somewhere around the train station. Most accounts of Dounan’s theater history only identify three sites, so there’s also a chance this was another name for the eponymous Dounan Theater.
