Established in the hinterland of Douliu in 1725, this Guanyin temple has grown into a sprawling complex with numerous structures scattered across the rolling hills of eastern Yunlin. There is an enormous golden statue of Maitreya Bodhisattva (彌勒菩薩) on the hill across from the main entrance. This has attracted the urban exploration community as it is still unfinished and extremely impressive in scale, but as of the 2020s the perimeter is said to be alarmed due to the predations of thieves. A pair of komainu (狛犬) from the former Nairin Shrine (內林神社) can be found on the grounds.
