The oldest water supply system in Yunlin County, established in December 1912 to serve approximately 5,500 residents of Douliu and the nearby village of Nèilín (內林). The source was subsurface flow from Neilin Creek (內林溪), fed through a buried conduit to a sand trap (砂吐場) and distribution well (配水井); the system was expanded in 1914 to serve 8,500 people with the addition of an upstream intake and a new purification pool. Two original red brick structures survive on site, a circular distribution well and a rectangular sand trap, now administered by the Taiwan Water Corporation’s Fifth District Office.
