Dongshi Jianan Vocational High School (嘉義縣私立嘉南高級中學) - Spectral Codex
嘉義縣私立嘉南高級中學

A private vocational high school on the outskirts of Puzi. In 2001 an embezzlement scandal left teachers unpaid and students without textbooks, triggering a collective strike. The final graduating class never received their diplomas. Jianan went on to become the first private high school in Taiwan declared bankrupt by the courts, with proceedings concluded by 2004. It has long been abandoned and naturally attracted the interest of Taiwan’s urban exploration community over the years. By 2025 part of the campus had been demolished and replaced by a solar energy plant. It is commonly known as Jianan Home Economics (嘉南家商).
