Built around 1932 by the Taiwan Electric Power Company as one of Taipei’s secondary distribution substations, with the company emblem still affixed to the northwest corner of its pale-green façade. Taiwan Power Company still operates the station in Datong, Taipei, which serves roughly 9,500 households, and it was registered as a city monument in September 2019.
