Beidou Fumei Temple (北斗富美館) - Spectral Codex

A Lord Xiao (蕭府王爺) temple founded in 1877 and relocated to the current site in 1881, with roots tracing back to Fumei Temple in Quanzhou. Expanded in 1934, it nearly faced demolition in 1995 due to a land ownership dispute before local fundraising saved it. Registered as a historic building in 2012 and restored in 2018, the temple later sparked controversy when a torii and rain shelter were built in front without approval, violating heritage laws. The shelter remains but the large torii signboard was removed.
