A small stop on the Alishan Forest Railway (阿里山森林鐵路) at 1,534 meters elevation. It is located in a Tsou Indigenous settlement called Sʉaʼfʉnʉ and historically acted as a transit point for local communities and lumber crews before the Alishan Highway diverted most traffic. The line was severed by Typhoon Morakot from August 2009 to September 2017, leaving Shizilu as the temporary terminus until through service to Alishan was restored in July 2024. A small café and visitor center opened beside the station as part of a community redevelopment programme during the long suspension.
