A small flag stop on the Alishan Line (阿里山線) of the Alishan Forest Railway at 1,516 meters elevation in Alishan. It opened in 1912 under the Japanese name Toroen (トロエン), which was simplified to the present name in the mid-1960s. The Tsou name for the area is Ngungutu. Service was suspended after Typhoon Morakot in August 2009 and resumed in 2017.
