Completed in 1919 and designed by architect Uheiji Nagano, this iconic neo-Baroque building was originally the Office of the Government-General of Taiwan. It was damaged by US bombing in World War 2 and restored in the years after the Japanese surrender. Now it serves as the office of the president of the ROC (中華民國總統府).
