A small Shinto shrine established in 1912 and dedicated to Sugawara no Michizane (菅原道真), the deity of scholarship. Originally a privately-built shrine, it was re-consecrated on 24 September 1931 and opened to public worship. The shrine was located near the southwest corner of what is now 228 Peace Memorial Park (二二八和平公園) in Taipei. Nothing is known to remain but there is now a small land god shrine (福德宮) at the site. Known as Taihoku Tenmangū-sha in the original Japanese.
