A Shinto shrine established in September 1931, formally known as Takasago-sha (高砂社). Expansion was underway at the end of World War 2 but never completed. The ruins can be found beside Mingshandao Temple (明山道堂), which now privately owns the land. Around the early 2000s the original torii was demolished by Xiulin Township Office after the landowner requested an alternative road built alongside it. Despite overgrowth the shrine remains relatively well-preserved with several stone lantern bases, an unfinished hand-washing basin (手洗缽), and stairs leading up to the main hall (本殿) all still present. It is also sometimes referenced as Suigen-sha (水源社).
