An original Shingon Buddhist temple from the Japanese colonial era, neatly restored and open to the public for a small fee of around 30 NT. Established in 1917 as the Yoshino Shingon Mission (真言宗吉野布教所). It still contains several original stone monuments representing the 88 temples of the Shikoku Pilgrimage (四国遍路) in Japan (as well as reproductions of those monuments that have gone missing over the years).
