A former railway station on the Dodoka Line (哆哆咖線), an extension of the Alishan Forest Railway (阿里山森林鐵路) toward Dongpu in Nantou County. It was originally established around 1934 and named Kodama (兒玉) in honor of the fourth governor-general of Taiwan. It was renamed in the post-war era and continued to operate into at least the 1960s. Much of the line was converted into the New Central Cross-Island Highway (新中橫公路) in the 1970s but a length of track remains along Tefuye Trail (特富野古道), which operated as the Shuishan Line (水山線) from around 1941 to 1945.
