Completed in 1978, this members-only resort on the riverside in southern Xindian was a popular leisure destination in the 1980s, but it fell into disrepair after a change in ownership in 2006. By the early 2010s it was effectively abandoned, becoming a regular fixture of the urban exploration scene due to its ease of access and discovery. It was known in English as the Victors La Villa Resort. As of 2024 it is under redevelopment.

I am a web application developer, photojournalist, urban explorer, and history enthusiast passionate about the open web and documenting my experiences on this planet. This project was founded in the early 2010s and has evolved into a sort of personal Wikipedia of places that interest me (and often the photographs I’ve taken there). I’m originally from Toronto, Canada, but spend most of my time residing in Taiwan.
