The second hydroelectric power plant established in Taiwan in 1907 and also the oldest still in operation. Not open to the public but its Baroque Revival architectural flourishes are readily appreciated from the surrounding streets. Formally the Guishan Power Plant Cuokeng Unit (桂山發電廠粗坑機組).
