An ROCAF military dependents’ village of about 125 households on Yongming Road (永明路) in Taoyuan, established by Air Force Command in February 1950. Like most air force villages before the 1970s, it occupied single-storey wooden houses left behind by the Japanese, and its residents were mainly 5th Wing headquarters staff. It has since been completely redeveloped into modern residential towers that still bear the name.
