Asahi Shinto Shrine (旭村社) - Spectral Codex

Former site of a small Shinto shrine in this Japanese immigrant village in rural Taitung City, Taitung. It has been converted into Fèngshùn Temple (奉順宮), but a lone stone lantern remains. Sometimes more generally named as Asahi Immigrant Village Shrine (旭移民村神社). It was presumably established around 1916 along with the rest of the village and may have been a yōhaijo (遙拜所), or remote worship shrine.
