Completed in 1923 and expanded in 1933, this girls’ school was built in a Western stylewith funding by the Presbyterian church. The school has been continuously expanded over its many decades of operation and in 2002 both the main building (本館) and lecture hall (講堂) were designated heritage sites. It now operates as Chang Jung Girls’ High School (臺南市私立長榮女子高級中學).
