Tainan Crown Department Store (臺南王冠百貨公司) - Spectral Codex
Tainan Crown Department Store (臺南王冠百貨公司)

A fashionable department store owned by jewelry magnate Tang Canbing (唐蒼濱). It opened to the public in 1969 and thrived for decades but stiff competition and the Hai’an Road redevelopment project in the 1990s led to its eventual closure around 2004. In its later years the mall rebranded as Young Noble (年輕貴族), possibly after it was sold. The building was steadily dismantled over the course of the early 2010s and turned into a parking lot.
