An institutional shrine (構內社) established in February 1935 on the grounds of the Sun Moon Lake No. 1 Power Plant (日月潭第一發電所). It may have also been known simply as Nichigetsu-sha (日月社). The power plant is still operating today as the Daguan Power Plant (大觀發電廠) near Minghu Reservoir (明湖水庫) but the shrine was completely dismantled sometime in the post-war period.
