The Southeast Asia Movie Theater Project

A photographic record of standalone movie theaters in Southeast Asia, particularly in Thailand, Laos, and Myanmar. Mainly active in the late 2000s and early 2010s but still active as of the mid-2020s. This project is a major inspiration for my own work documenting the disappearing theaters of Taiwan.
