Dao Khanong Theater is located on the southwestern margins of metropolitan Bangkok in Thon Buri. This distinctive theater was likely established in the late 1970s, though the precise date does not seem to be widely known. Originally a single screen theater, it was subdivided into two theater halls in the 1990s, becoming BMC Dao Khanong Multiplex (บีเอ็มซี ดาวคะนอง มัลติเพล็กซ์). For a single ticket one could watch two films until it finally went out of business in 2013.
