Xīnxīng (新興), commonly romanized as Sinsing, is the most densely populated district in Kaohsiung, and one of the most densely populated in all Taiwan. Its catalog of demolished theaters and entertainment venues is extensive, a sign of its former prominence as a commercial hub.
