An early post-war theater established in 1947 in Xinxing District. Out of business around 1979 and demolished long ago. It was also known as Nanhua Theater (南華戲院) and Nanxing Budai Theater (南興布袋戲院), this last one a reference to glove puppetry. It was known for showing puppet shows and only later became a second-run cinema. Finally, it began screening adult films prior to its ultimate closure.
