Akō Shinto Shrine (阿緱神社) - Spectral Codex
阿緱神社あこうじんじゃ

A prefectural shrine (縣社) completed in October 1919 also known as Akō-jinja in Japanese. This was the top-ranking Shinto shrine in Pingtung. It was almost completely demolished after the war and converted into a Chinese Martyrs’ Shrine. This was later relocated and demolished too, leaving only a bridge over a pond in what was formerly known as Zhongshan Park (中山公園水池橋梁) harkening back to the Japanese colonial era.
