Established in the 1930s as Heitō-gekijō (屏東劇場) or Shinheitō-za (新屏東座). It was a massive venue with a capacity for nearly 1,500 guests. Mostly demolished long ago and replaced by a hotel (子琪大飯店). A small part of the original structure, which was previously the Guoji Department Store (國際百貨商場), is still standing above what is now a branch of Sugarcane Mama (甘蔗の媽媽).
