A historic private school established in 1831 in Nantou City. It has undergone many changes over the years, most recently when it was heavily damaged in the 921 Earthquake and again restored in 2002. It is home to several cultural treasures, among them a rare example of a ritual paper incinerator in Nantou County, which is now located in the forecourt.
