A cluster of seven decommissioned ROC military bunkers on the Bagua Mountain escarpment north of the Zhuoshui River, repurposed as a public park. The site was one of more than twenty defensive positions built to overlook the Changhua Plain. Seven bunkers nearest Shoutian Temple were renamed after the seven stars of the Big Dipper, an allusion to the temple’s principal deity Xuantian Shangdi (玄天上帝), god of the north. Decommissioned tanks and artillery pieces from the Ministry of National Defense are displayed alongside the bunkers, and the park is surrounded by working tea, pineapple, and ginger fields.
