Established by Xiao Wenzhang (蕭文章) in the 1920s in Yumin Village (裕民村) on the outskirts of Ershui, Changhua. The mill processed Taiwan cypress, Formosan cypress, and Japanese zelkova (櫸樹), supplying materials for ox carts and crossarm timber for electric poles. It was inherited by Xiao Kunliang (蕭坤良) and then Xiao Hongyu (蕭宏裕), operating across three generations before closing. The structures on site probably date to the late Japanese colonial era or early post-war period. An example of a conjoined residential and industrial space, though not accessible to the public.
