Built in 1936 as a private villa by jewelry shop owner Li Wei, this old residence is a distinctive two-story brick building with a concave floor plan creating eight corners. From 1953 the structure served as the office of Dongzhou Pharmaceutical Company (東洲化學製藥廠). It was eventually designated a historic building in 2004.
