The historic administrative office for Shikano immigrant village (鹿野移民村), a former Japanese-only settlement in Luye, Taitung County. Built in 1921, it is the only surviving Japanese colonial era district-level office in the county. The structure combines Western-style wooden construction on its east side with Taiwanese-style brick on the west. After the war the building was repurposed as dormitory housing under Luye Township; residents gradually moved out or passed away by 2005. Designated a historic building in 2012 and subsequently restored for public visitation.
