A lively golden age theater next to what is now Siwei Park (四維公園). Initially it was named Zhongxingtai Theater (中興泰戲院), later it was also renamed Jinhangong Theater (金漢宮戲院), Hangong Cineplex (漢宮影劇院), and Yonggui Opera House (永貴歌劇院). It was prosperous in the 1970s but struggled into the 1980s, eventually resorting to playing erotic films and hosting striptease shows. The business was forced to shut down several times, hence the many name changes. Demolished in the 1990s and turned into a parking lot. More recently the site has been redeveloped into a modern residential tower.
