A military dependents’ village for officers attached to Keelung Fortress Command (基隆要塞司令部), built around a cluster of Japanese colonial era officers’ dormitories (校官官舍) in the Shawan (沙灣) area of Zhongzheng District, Keelung. The original Japanese buildings were augmented with additional post-war housing for fortress command staff. After residents were relocated, likely around the mid-2000s, the village was demolished in the early 2010s to make way for redevelopment.
