Construction on this immense hotel began in 2019 but stalled soon thereafter. As of 2024 the rusted steel skeleton of the building is plainly visible behind the New Paradiso Mall (花蓮新天堂樂園) and some of the other more popular attractions in the area. Naturally it has attracted the attention of the urban exploration community in Taiwan, but the site is not readily accessible to casual scrutiny.
