Former Japanese airfield on the south side of Hualien, then known as Karenko. Not much left apart from some old reinforced concrete airplane hangars. One is in a city park (as marked) and the other two are just to the north inside the plant nursery. Parts of the original site are in use as a military base and access is restricted.
