Completed in 1893, Second Jianshan Bridge (第二尖山橋) was originally built for the railway line connecting Keelung to Hsinchu. The Japanese authorities abandoned this line several years later, and the bridge was converted for road traffic. It is now preserved as part of the remains of the Guilunling Railway Bridges (龜崙嶺鐵道橋遺構).
