Fengshan Township Office

A two-storey red brick government building completed in Fengshan, Kaohsiung, in 1930. Over the years it was heavily modified, obscuring the original façade, and it now operates as the Kaohsiung Public Library Caogong Branch (高雄市立圖書館曹公分館). Seismic retrofit work begun in January 2026, exposing arched red brick window openings later confirmed to be part of the original 1930 structure, triggering public discourse about its heritage status and potential for restoration.
