Longyin Temple (龍隱寺) in Chukou Village (觸口村) is dedicated to Jigong (濟公禪師), a semi-legendary Buddhist monk venerated across Daoist and Buddhist traditions. Established in 1990, the temple became widely known after Taiwan Television and China Television selected it as the primary filming location for two long-running drama series about Jigong, collectively spanning over 800 episodes in the mid-to-late 1990s.
