Former cinema on the fifth and sixth floors of Tongling Commercial Building A (統領商業大樓A棟), a 14-storey mixed-use complex in Taipei’s East District (東區) completed in 1984. The building was developed by Tongling Department Store (統領百貨), which was established in 1982 and occupied the floors below the theater. Both closed by the late 1990s amid competition from Mingyao Department Store (明曜百貨) across the street and nearby Sogo Zhongxiao. The theater space was converted into nightclub Luxy, which helped reignite Taipei nightlife in the early 2000s. Luxy transformed into Omni, which remains operational as of 2026.
