A multi-function venue and landmark designed by architect Wang Da-hong (王大閎) to commemorate the life of Sun Yat-sen, founding father of the Republic of China. Groundbreaking took place in 1965 but it wasn’t completed until 1972. As of 2024 it is undergoing restoration and is due to reopen to the public in 2026.
