Designed by Swiss Brother Julius Felder of the Bethlehem Mission Society and built in 1968, this modest church served a largely Amis Indigenous congregation in the village of Xiaoma in Chenggong, Taitung. It was one of Felder’s early works in Taiwan and is consecrated as St. Nicolas Cathedral. A small cemetery behind the church, laid out after 1985, contains the graves of several Bethlehem Mission priests who served along the east coast. It has been recognized for its heritage value since 2005.
