Zhongli First Public Retail Market (中壢第一公有零售市場) was established sometime in the Japanese colonial era, but the exact date is not known. It was located in the heart of Zhongli, a city in Taoyuan, and was a popular shopping destination for locals over many decades. The original building was demolished in the 1970s and replaced in 1975. This, in turn, was demolished in late 2017 and replaced by a more modern commercial development in 2022. It is known to locals for the big clock (大時鐘) displayed out front.
