Established around 1931 as Yuanlin Theater (員林舞臺). It continued to operate after the war but the timing of the name change is unclear. Some sources suggest it was renamed in 1970 but newspaper clipping from the late 1950s indicate a theater by this name already operated in Yuanlin. The structure was demolished around 2009 and replaced by a gas station.
