An unusual temple to Tudigong (土地公), the Earth God, in Yongjing, housed in a building that looks very much like a Japanese colonial era martial arts hall. It dates to 1930 and, according to a former village head, was designed by a Japanese architect. The temple hosted a branch class of the local elementary school from 1964 to 1968, and the school that grew out of it was named Fude Elementary (福德國小) in gratitude.
