Two rows of dormitories built after 1945 to house staff of the Yilan County Government, one side single-storey houses under black tile, the other two-storey red-brick townhouses fronted by small gardens. Many of the original occupants were migrants from Fuzhou, and the lane between the rows became known as Fuzhou Lane (福州巷). Listed as a historic building in 2016, the cluster now operates as part of the Yilan Cultural and Creative Park (蘭陽原創館).
