The last and shortest-lived of three post-war theaters on Kangle Road (康樂路) in Yanshui, the others being Yongcheng Theater and Dongwenshe Theater. Built in the 1960s by Li Tianfu (李添福) as a hybrid cinema and performance stage, it closed at some point in the 1990s as television and videotape rentals hollowed out the small town entertainment market across Taiwan. Nothing of the original structure survives; the site has since been redeveloped as ordinary townhouses.
