One of a handful of theaters still operating in Ximending. Previously there was also a Xinshijie Theater (新世界戲院) in the same building, a successor to the prestigious Shinsekai-kan (新世界館) theater originally built on this site in 1920. Also officially known as Wonderful Theatre in English.
