Christianity in Taiwan

Although only around 4–6% of the population of Taiwan adheres to Christianity the influence of the faith has been significant throughout the colonial period and into the modern era. This section mainly documents the physical traces of missionary activity, demographic changes as evidenced by the many abandoned churches around the country, and the localization of church architecture and practices.
