A stone deity temple (石頭公廟) housing a face-shaped stone said to have been discovered in 1779, either washed down by a mountain flood or found by a woodcutter on Baguashan. The surrounding villages later took the name Shitougong Village (石頭公庄) from this stone. The temple was rebuilt in 2004 after a truck crashed into it.
