Nanya Public School Shrine and Hōanden (湳雅公學校校內神社與奉安殿) - Spectral Codex
湳雅公學校校內神社與奉安殿

A former campus shrine (校內社) and hōanden (奉安殿) near the base of Baguashan in Shetou, built circa 1938 with donations from staff and students. The hōanden was a purpose-built structure for housing the imperial rescript on education and portraits of the emperor and empress. The school was renamed Chaoxing Elementary School (朝興國小) in 1947 and presumably these Japanese colonial era relics were dismantled sometime thereafter. Their precise position on the campus is unknown.
